TRS Pre-retirement Workshop
There will be a pre-retirement workshop for all Second District teachers on Saturday, November 19th, at the Henderson County Schools Professional Development Center. The address is 631 N. Green St. (The building is actually closer to the corner of 6th and Elm and next to the Thelma B. Johnson Early Learning Center.) Registration starts at 8:00a.m.
September 2016 Meeting
The HCRTA will meet on Friday, September 2nd, at the Professional Development Center on Sixth Street at 10:00a.m. Registration begins at 9:30. Please bring donations of school supplies. Lunch will be catered by Golden Corral. Contact Barbara Durham if you plan on eating.
SDRTA Scholarship
Today at the HCRTA meeting we discussed the fact that have only had 1 person apply for the Second District scholarship for junior or senior education majors.
